about

This estate development is coordinated by Kim Oeij, Founder of VillaShortStay. The  goal is to develop a luxurious 8-bedroom estate in Phuket - with a positive ecological footprint and certified by Green Building LEED certification.

Without any compromise on quality the estate will feature a Spa, Gym, Cinema, 2 infinity pools, 2 bars, a wine cellar and multiple dining and lounge areas and can fit 24 guests. (8 king beds and 8 single beds) The estate will be pet friendly and have

an in-house organic farm.

It will incorporate serving local organic food and in-room recycling and composting programs. The idea is to set up an in-house energy consumption and climate change learning program - to raise awareness as to understand that each staff member & guests can be responsible for significant energy savings.

The name SaKi comes from the first 2 letters of Kim's name combined with the first 2 letters of his twin sister's name; Sacha. In Japanese Sa means "Blossom" and Ki means "hope".

SaKi is "to be delighted, to express joy, to smile" in Mandarin.

The estate architect is Dat Lai, an architect from Vietnam with 11 years of experience.
